Good play on TORC. I bought TORC in May for $1.71. Been selling the $2.50 calls against the shares since. Cost basis is now -$41.20 per share. Still have the shares, but started selling the $5 calls.
Also selling OTM puts for GNPX. If I get assigned, will own shares at a reduced cost basis and start selling calls against them too.

Thanks Cheese and Xarlor.
As I have been selling my older holdings, I have been plowing the money into GNPX.
Xarlor I'm happy your making money on TORC.
The premiums in the options are decent for such a low priced stock.
I have also been writing out of the money puts on GNPX
Currently short the 100 SEPT 2.5 PUTS at an average price of $.48
Also have a covered write expiring next Friday 140 contracts.

It appears to me that the 2-3 months period before releasing your filter has elapsed, and since you've stopped posting regular picks from the filter its probably time to let us see it; so we can benefit from any new ideas contained within and do our own tweaking/testing.....

I will honor your requests
I will be posting the filter next week.
I am trying to combine the 2 filters into 1.
I would run the first filter to determine a list of candidates
Then I would copy the new list of candidates, and run them thru the second filter.
The second filter is purely a volume filter.
I will try over the weekend and early next week to combine these filters.
So far, I have not been able to do it.
My coding skills are terrible.
This is a pride thing with me, I want to accomplish this.
If I cannot, I will still release it.
I know some of you guys will be able to do it.

It's your filters and your pride and joy, so you can do whatever you want.
If you are like TRO and Kevin, and you give away great filters because you can,
then that will put you right up there among sF giants, and I for one will cheer
for you.
But I think it's fair to mention the few self-serving business-minded few
who benefited ideas and filters from people like TRO or his trading partner
and then went on to build commercial business ventures. There were also
a few people who used ideas froom forum members and accumulate tens of thousands
of paid followers and subscribers. They never disclose their filters.
They charge followers fees for access to their picks.
Sure, you can give away free stuff. But if you don't legally protect your I.P.
somebody else can take steps to legally own your brainchild,
and then prevent you to even use it for your other future expert endeavors.
You could suddenly just create your own handicap.
Will you be able tell your children and grandchildren about your pride and joy
in an unfettered way, or will you always have to tell a story?

You are definitely a man of integrity.
I appreciate your honesty, and internet friendship.
Personally, this filter is not earth shattering.
True, I have put some effort into this filter,
But I would be remiss if I didn't mention all the help I have received from fellow SF traders.
This filter, in reality is an compilation of many filters I have witnessed on SF.
Left alone, I could never have written this filter.
The ideas are my own.
This filter just an amalgamation of ideas I've garnered over the years that have crystallized.
I have traded this filter for the last 4-5 months.
I have made money from this filter.
I have also have had losers, and stocks that have done nothing.
I have my sight set on GNPX.
I closing in on retirement, and don't plan on trading actively in the coming years.
Gonna do a lot of fishing, hunting, and golf.
Can't enjoy these activities to the fullest, with trading on my mind.

Sorry for the confusion.
I plan on releasing the filter after GNPX explodes higher.
My time horizon is 1-3 months.
I didn't release the filter because it's my first real play using Xarlors modified filter.
I'll be the Sacrificial Lamb with this try out period.
I mentioned GNPX ahead of the expected rise, so other traders can see.
I didn't want anyone following my advice unless it is proven successful.
I am very excited to see if this plays out like I expect.
If it does I will definitely share the filter with everyone.
