I say 280.
Although the whole market seems to be giving up the ghost.
If a calamity strikes the market, I say 162 is quite possible

Thanks for the info Cheese.
BBI is strictly a TA play.
I have seen enough of these low priced stocks work there way up the ladder.( wishing I found them sooner)
The chart in my opinion is text book.
Very similar to UVAS which I profited nicely.

Very long consolidation pattern, with a recent ascent in share price on some volume.
Can't go wrong risking a small amount.
There is no timeline.
I own 40k shares and I'm up as of this writing.
My average is share price is .87c

Hi Xarlor

Thanks for the filter, and your input.
My filter as written, occasionally gave me results with the close in between the ma's
But it is not critical.
When weeding thru the chaff and eliminating as many stocks as possible.
I would only show interest in stocks where the ma(200) was basically straight lining for an extended period of time. This is before the Ma(50) crosses above.
This filter is not a daytrade, nor a swing filter.
I buy and hold, and add to my position on severe dips.

Thanks Snappyfrog

Is it possible to include in this filter gap being filled.
Some of these plays are spectacular.
But, I would like to get in after the original spike gap has been filled.
Mansor this applies to you too.
I have kept a record manually of my candidates when the original gap is filled.
Cumbersome to say the least.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi Mansor

I have abandoned the original filter, but not the theory.
What I personally have observed in my trading, is not to over trade.
This is what I have come up with recently, and I have been trading it's candidates.

Show stocks where ma(50) crossed above ma(200) within the last 3 weeks
and close is between ma(50) and ma(200),
and open 1 day ago is greater than close 2 day ago
and open 2 days ago is greater than close 3 days ago
and open 3 days ago is greater than close 4 days ago
and close is between .10 and 20
and draw ma(50)
and draw ma(200)
Good Luck

Thank you
Still holding 65k shares at an average of $2.70
Last year I did many option writes, covered and selling puts.
If included to my purchase price, would lower it to $1.85.
I plan on holding this winner for a while.
Because of the number of shares I have, the covered writing is very lucrative.
This was all planned and hoped for as I accumulated shares.
Gonna keep my fingers crossed that this continues.
Just a heads up to who follow this thread.
I originally bought 20k BBI at$ 0.75.
I have added an additional 20k that I bought at 0.98
Another long term hold

Thanks Cheese
It's still in it's infancy.
Plenty of room to run.
Still holding every share.
I have had to have the patience of Job with this one.

General Discussion · Re-engineering an Old Filter
msg #155529

I can remember at least 30 years ago my father subscribed to a newsletter by Jay Saxena.
I marveled how this man who hit 4 bagger after 4 bagger.
The newsletter came monthly, and contained a portfolio of about 20 stocks.
I would often glance at it, and observe when the initial commitment was made.
So I tried to re-engineer the system he was using.
It seemed to me at the time, he mostly played nasdaq stocks.
What I came up with was a monthly filter that seemed seamless with his initial entries.
I would use Bigcharts at the time. Set the parameters for monthly viewing.
The only T/A I used was macd viewed over a monthly graph.
What I noticed was the stocks were starting an ascent on heavy volume which also corresponded
to the macd crossover on a monthly view.
Back then, TA was not as savvy as it is today.
I played the stocks I could find simply by entering as many symbols as I could into Bigcharts until I found what I was looking for,
I can remember some plays were ESOL, COHR, OVTI to name a few.
I had decent success with this system, but it was very cumbersome and time consuming.
Is it possible to write this filter in SF?

I am currently accumulating BBI.
Getting in very early
20k shares at .77
Let's see how this goes into the summer next year.
Patience is a virtue.
GNPX is still a buy, the real breakout has not happened yet.
When they release some info on their diabetes research.
This should propel quite nicely.
Happy New Year to everyone

Doing great
Up over 100% in GNPX.
Still holding a boat load.
Have not sold 1 share.
Patience is a virtue.
God willing I have the time, and I know I definitely have the patience.
Thanks for your curiosity.
