been following the VIX now that the market and dollar are running together...
no brainer for me this am... VIX spiked above 13.30 and shot straight to 13.55. longed some VXX and SDS
Sold the VXX holding SDS.. look to buy VXX when if VIX retest 13.30

GLD making a move so hopefully means the dollar will pull back for a few days.
I have seen GLD be a tell in the past... it goes up for a day or two before the dollar rolls over??
Whats also strange is UUP and DXY are flat to a bit down but the dow us dollar index (I have been using), has been ripping?
Must be the YEN and the USD/CAD?
Bonds unwinding and buying equities?
JP, I think you are right on the money as always.. GLD this week.
But.....
FOMC and Fed rate Wendsday... what happens to the dollar if the FED starts to tighten, should go up more right? so GLD should sell off?
If the FED hints at a rate hike (lots of reasons)... I know bonds get killed, stocks also (small caps the hardest).. cost more to borrow... so only thing left is comods? I honestly cant say I can remember what happened to comods if interest rates went up.
Someone can clue me in on what to expect. or will it be just plain inflation panic??

NFLX....$161....could see $155(ema100)....we will get a bounce before that price target.
