/CL....hope you guys took advantage of shorting crude over $54.48 with etf SCO.
Pull up a daily chart and draw line at $31.78 and see how many touches.

I had a very large position in XIV (25,000 shares) taken on Thursday at $64.50. Out this morning at $66.00 for a gain of $37,500 before commissions. Was very concerned about this exposure going into Trump's speech last night, but he handed me a gift.
On vacation for the next week - did not want to have such a large trade still in play.

Yes - $1,612,500 in that one trade. The XIV system is pretty volatile (obviously) so I was down almost $80,000 at one point on Friday before it recovered. I was sweating it there ...
Contango is still quite high, as is the roll yield. Those two drive ETF action mostly during the last week before futures expiry, so I can still re-enter this trade (even if it is at a higher price) and make some cash if things remain as is.
