JB,on NLST,try this:show stocks that make new 90 day high, break upper bb band,100% vol increase from previous day.If you entered this one on Nov 12 or 13,you would have made some nice money.I'm sure NLST would have shown up on this kind of filter. The filter you're looking for is a low consolidation breakout filter. They don't come up that often, but when they do,good things happen.I myself would take this kind of trade with size in a heart beat.Hi probability trading at its best. This might be a job for Chet..

Trixychart, wow, who knew!
I got the scan, I can find them, thats easy, but there is a commom denominator between all these, Volume spikes, MACD, MA, RSI, candle patterns, but the one thing I notice is that the MACD is always below 0 while the RSI(14) is above 50 and the base is generally a long one, and dont forget that Resistance break. Im killing time at night when I get home from work, I am determined to nail this pattern, it can be done! I mean with a fairly certain degree of accuracy that they will fly in open air! the past is indicative of the future! ( or is it the other way around) LOL!
thanks guys!

Back on Topic
SNSS NLST ANYT JYHW ANX MEDG, and a few others of concern!
Average RSI(14) at time of lift off (70)
Average MACD 12,26,9 lift off (.0152)
MA 9, above MA 18 above MA 27 (I just like these, burned into my brain)
(MACD fast line above slow line
MACD below 0 at time of MA(9) crossing (18))
Volume spike greater than 100% (sometimes as much as 900%) over last day!
RSI(14) is above 50 while MACD is rising, and below 0, MACD rises .001,.002,.01,.015 and so on and so on!
2 major channel types (breakout of falling wedge)
(breakout of rising channel over previous resistance of a 90 day high)
code genius wanted! CHETRON WANTED!
RSI(14) and MACD values coupled with these Moving averages is Key!
can SF code these subtle MACD values?
P.S. Miketranz, this happens all the time! usually runs on a 60 day cycle!
