Is there a way to see only the new stocks that are added to a filter over say, the past day or couple of days? Rather than seeing everything every time? It would really help speed up scanning on days I don't have much time.

Not sure if BETWEEN works with your filter. Between will reduce the stocks that are returned when a filter is run.

Have you seen the guide? https://www.stockfetcher.com/help/?id=100379

------------------------------------------------------

Here is one way to filter for a range
https://www.stockfetcher.com/forums/Filter-Phrases/between/24002

Usage indicator is between value and value

Description Between is an extension of the above, below phrase. A user can use between to restrict an indicator or measure to a specific range. Whether looking to restrict the price of the stock or focus in on a particular range of an indicator, the between phrase provides a quick way to guide follow-on filters.

Examples
Price is between $15 and $45.
The RSI(15) is between 10 and 30

I don't think that quite works, unless I can say something like "the stock was added to the list generated by the filter between yesterday and two days ago" kind of thing.

Its almost a filter that you apply to the filter. Show me stocks that were added to this filter in the past 2 days.

I believe there are a couple of options to get you a list of only the recent stocks meeting your filter; however the best option will depend on your filter complexity and/or how many results it normally returns.

If you can post your filter particulars it would help us answer your questions more specifically.

Well, here is what I'm working with.

market is not ETF
average volume(50) is above 500000

price is above 5
price is above the ema(50)
slope of the ema(50) is above 0

close is less than 10% below the high of 52 week high

close is less than 3.5% above the Center Keltner Band(20,2.25)
close is less than 1% below the Center Keltner Band(20,2.25)

close crossed above the Upper Keltner Band(20,2.25) within the last 25 days
Count(price crossed Lower Keltner Band(20,1.5),20) is below 1

MACD Fast Line(3,10,16)has reached a new 3 month high within the last 25 days

do not draw the ema(50)
do not draw the slope of the ema(50)
do not draw the Lower Keltner Band(20,1.5)
do not draw the high of 52 week high
do not draw the MACD(3,10,16)
do not draw the MACD Fast Line(3,10,16)3 month high
do not draw the RSI(14)

and chart-length is 6 months

@2nickelstripper,

a. One of the reasons I wanted to see your filter was to get a feel for how many stocks were in a usual daily result. Since the number is fairly low on yours one easy way to get a list of the stocks from the latest results that were not in the prior day results is to export today's results to an excel spreadsheet and then move them to the spreadsheet with yesterday's results. and paste the following formula in a blank column in all of the cells to the left of all of the cells in today's symbol column:

=IF(ISERROR(NOT(MATCH(F2,$A:$A,0))),F2,"")

You won't have to edit that formula if you have yesterday's results pasted into the first 5 columns in Excel starting with cell A1, and today's results pasted into the group of coumns starting in cell F1 with that formula pasted into the cells of the next blank column.

b. The below filter should provide the same results for you in SF when run today, however I did find a single missing stock on one of my test runs:

Hope this helps,
Ed S.
