I'm in the middle of my 2nd reading . And I plan on reading it again. Its really Interesting of seeing what he has written . The Compression and Expansion of the 2 groups of averages. Traders (the swing trade - ema(3) to ema(15) and the Investors ( Big hedge funds & your investment firms like Morgan Stanley, Citibanks, Bank of America types- ema(30) to ema(60) )

I have a hard copy from Amazon but this link one can down load a Adobe PDF file to your hard drive desk top.

The reviews on Amazon where one poster says one should throw away the book after the first 100 days doesn't know what they are talking about. Something that I caught onto is Guppy is saying to throw all those failing / lagging indicators away.

The book is 433 pages so it might take a few minutes to download.

Daryl Guppy Trend trading book PDF .

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm reading through it now. What was the most valuable thing you took away from it?

Compare last winner to how the 2 groups react to each other was one of the things.
Throw out those worthless indicators that just create a lot of useless noise.
Read it more that once. Maybe 3 or 4 times to start.

John, what do you think of the filter below? Is this what you have in mind when it comes to GUPPY breakouts?

Mac, thanks for the link. I'd forgotten about GMMA lately, and will read the book now. I have been riding the market since the Trump rally began, but got out last week when UPRO closed below ema(13), (All good things must come to an end). The settlement time is up and back in on Monday. I am thinking about XLK or XLV, Your thoughts? Again, thanks for the link.

To me a great example is BAC chart of a start of a trend, different chances to enter on short term traders weakness while longer term Investors show great strength.

I use more traders averages than Guppy calls for.

The developer for Edgerater Pro just released a new template for Guppy MMA which is described in his blog at http://www.edgerater.com/blog/guppy-multiple-moving-average-indicator-and-template/ .

Might give you some new Guppy MMA ideas.

If you then want to try it out there is a fully functional 30 day trial of Edgerater Pro with no credit card required.
