John,

I will try to do my best to answer the questions.

1, Yeah, the filter does kick back a few. As I was going over the PB scores here. I notice they are pretty low. Kinda tells me the market is either extended or in a correction. As far is the numbers of stocks. I spend 5-6 hours a weekend preparing for the week ahead. This is how I pay the bills, but if i had to get the numbers down, I would decrease the spread on dollar amount or add a market cap to filer.

2, I love back testing. I have 2 other filters that I have backtested till my fingers bleed to get the bet results out of them. Unfortunately back testing a breakout filter is very hard. There are a ton variables. I'll work on this and see what I can come up with.

4 before 3. I try to look for stocks with nice short interest. This gives you some gas for the fire. I use Prophet X at work, stockfetcher I don't believe can do that yet.

John, I have not put together my list for next week yet. I will do that on sunday afternoon and I will give you the process, along with some good entries and exits.

How do past good Past Winners act like before they moved up and how did the past losers looked compared to the past winners is the question that one should study

CBOU should be a loser. I'm still holding unless it breaks the bottom of the flag.

BGS I got stopped out of this one. Failed BO. Its still flagging so I have it on my watchlist for reentry.

John, I went down the list and picked what I think will be some hot stocks this week. I'll highlight Thor here. What I like about Thor is it is looking to breakout of new highs. Looks to be putting in a cup here. Buy would be above 35.97 which is the high and the key resistance point.

Here is list of others with stops to help you get the idea.

ACOR over 33.25 stop 31.60
CROX over 28.30 stop 26.50

Set{iTargetPrice,close*.04}

I'm a newbie and I don't understand what the problem is.

Thanks Fat Dragon

What was the issue?

Nevermind. It needed a "0" on front of the .04.

Thanks bud!

Thanks for the picks Irishpitbull - once you draw your support and resistance lines how do you determine which stocks would be good picks? Do you look for certain chart details, confirmations, etc?
