Just thought I might add something here (not my usual hangout):
Using my Z-score system posted here in another thread, just saw an intraday BUY signal - AMZN (amazon.com). Zscore16 at -3.30, williams %R at -98.94. Looks like they dropped over 11% this morning.
They are currently at 200.93, sitting on top of the MA(200).
AMZN currently at 210.51. I probably would pull the trigger on this one and take the profit (4.7% in two days). Shame I didn't put this trade on ...
edit: NOW AT 213 (11:45 am)
edit 2: close at over 217 ... up 8% in two days. Kicking myself for not trading this one.

touche Kevin, I got a daily buy signal on AMZN yesterday @12:30 price 204.73 gap filled from 10/26 and new HOD from open but I didn't trade it.
GMCR 67.50 WK4 CALL open .42 low .36 now $2.44
i went the other way with it yesterday but made a little jack this morning in .65 out 2.00 broke even overall with the loss from yesterday. I should stick with my mechanic's and signals and quit trying the "intuitive gut feelings". I'm supposed to be a more disciplined trader than that.

Kevin,
Its one thing to know what to do and another thing to lay out large amounts of cash and doing it.
I do not find it very easy myself but the more you see of it the more you start to trust it.
I think the experience of watching how things work and then to know a really strong setup from a weak one takes a lot of time.
Because those really strong setups don't happen all that much but we need to be able to see them when they happen and act.
Its knowing and trusting yourself and being able to execute in real time.. very much like golf. Its just you and your mental abilities to control your body and emotions.
If you look at an hourly chart of the RUT or IWM look at the huge range bar at the bounce off of 600... I am already long some but I see that bar and I am thinking you need to load up long hear "all in" after that thing.. those kinds of events are difference between great traders and hacks. I still couldn't do it. but made some money. At some point the market will change and that moment needs to be understood and recognized for the opportunity it is. but that was a tell in my book and the real pros killed it.....

Another intraday signal from my Z-score filter:
Intraday BUY signal for EXPE (Expedia). Zscore at -2.53, Williams %R at -99.3, Bollinger %B(16,2) at -0.12. Currently at 26.23. Market is drifting lower, so I would wait until the end of the day to see if this can be bought at a better price.

Last hour VXX lotto active on the WK1 45 calls. Only 25% of shorts have covered during the rally. Hmmm...
