I'm thinking of loading TZA for a swing. What do u think JP?
TNA short term trend is broken. RSI(2) at 72 from 90+

what is your timeframe?
what is the trend?strength
do you have a buy signal with LBR?
TNA....starting to pick up steam, could get a buy signal on weekly which would not fare well for TZA.
-these are some questions I would want to know before pulling the trigger....you don't have to trade everyday, wait for the market to come to you.

Looking at 5/15 cross with TNA on 1h. Still watching.
UVXY does look like it could pop tomorrow? I see some divergence and LBR is setting up nicely.
Last time you were talking about UVXY, you said that you buy oversold and sell overbought...basing your decisions on cycles...
What indicators do you look at/time-frames?
________
I was trading TNA/TZA for some time....and it seems that volatility ETF's look much better...they are more directional, less noisy....which is good when you base decisions on ma's xovers..

Also - is there anything special about XIV? Seems like a perfect long-term investment....486% since May 2012.....

I don't share my indicators, they are constantly adjusted to suit current market environment and stocks from my watchlist. They are no holy grail. Find what works for you, this will take some time...and pain (:

QQQ close above middle = 8; max = 8
SPY close above middle = 5; max = 9
IWM close above middle = -1; previous = 4.
Besides the fact that QQQ is at record high number of closing above the middle, it seems that small-caps are going to correct today.
Clear bearish harami.

IWM....LBR is telling you the momo is down on daily. Price is at strong support ema(125). Now the question is which direction will you trade or do you sit it out and see what the market does.

Looking at both QQQ/SPY 1 hour.
Set up for 5/15 ema cross, LBR about to cross 0
QQQ TSI crossed , SPY flat.
KST flat, at cross.
Play bearish ETF or volatility? That's the question.
