If you have time, it would be interesting if you could use your backtesting filter to provide insights on the performance of some components of the Weinstein method,
e.g. weekly WMA(30), with and without Dorsey ratio, with and without Mansfield ratio, etc

To make it easy on me how about choosing one of the Weinstein filters and posting it and then I'll work on making it backtestable during Monday night football.

Oh, sorry Ed. I've completely missed it.
Unfortunately, I don't know which Weinstein posts are good.
I was hoping that you know which Weinstein features are best and test them.

Sorry for the delayed response...I'll try and get backtest filters done for each of your requests this weekend.
Between our Cardinals making the next round and my Gators playing LSU this weekend, I should have plenty of tv commercials during which I can be SF filtering...

Stan Weinstein apparently is still alive and publishing a stock market newsletter as he was fairly thoroughly interviewed in this month's Stocks and Commodities mag.
My key takeaway was that he doesn't feel the Mansfield relative strength line is as important in determining Stages due to the ever increasing speed of the stock market.
There was also a curious 20 year backtest article on buying stocks that just hit new 52 week highs....
