PT,
AKG: The short term indicators are starting to turn, just waiting for the 2 day and weeklies
GST: Todays open rained on the parade.

I jumped into DNR this morning @ 1.46 , but it is going nowhere in the early going.

My wife saw DNR on the screen and wanted to know if it meant "Do Not Resuscitate."
She trying to tell me something?

I really like those Heiken Ashi candlesticks. Although I don't think SF can chart them it is possible to calculate the values. Only problem is the open, Stockfetcher apparently runs into trouble when looking back more than 3 days, and the the effect of the seeding takes some 7 to 10 days to dissolve. Maybe others have ideas to solve this?
hacl3 is Heiken Ashi close 3 days ago, hahi0 is today's Heiken Ashi high etc.

Mahkoh, I tried to crack this nut, and found it far beyond my capabilities. Some time back, SF was asked to provide a HA option and the response was negative. Fortunately, HA candles are available on TC2000 and Scottrade Elite.

Graft, ha ha. yes, your wife is trying to tell you Warren Buffet's 2 rules of investing. 1. dont lose money. 2. dont forget about rule number 1.

Thanks for heads up on DNR. I am stalking QHC right now. Great earnings last night...waiting to see if I can get 3.30 at the east coast lunch slow down around 12:30 pm EST.

At noon the weekly, 2 day, and 4 hour "stars were in alignment", so took a shot at JNUG and SPXU.
Fingers crossed!

I like ChartingWealth.com. However, I think the signals are a little slow. Here is what I did and would like some of you to do the same because I want your opinion.

1. Created a free account on Investing.com
2. Created the a portfolio containing TLT, SPY, GLD, QQQ
3. Added the SMI Erdogic Indicator Oscillator to my chart saved the format.
4. The settings for the SMI indicator that I settled on were 4/10/4. I also looked at 5/20/5 which is the default.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks,
Dave

This charting wealths IYY ,SPY and QQQ charts look very ugly. This could get ugly and keep going for some time.

IMHO.

Even some word's of wisdom from another stock forum.
" Be very cautious when trying to go long when the markets are going to hell"

Even looking at his charts using Freestockchart , non-Heiki ash candles on daily charts don't look good.

@ dave I will take a look at it.
