Which measurement is the best way to measure for trending stocks over the last 45 days?
Highest Ranging Stocks.

I believe most strategies work If you are trading a high ranging/trending stock.
So what is the best approach to finding these stocks? I would remove any stocks that are big big gappers. I personally don't like trading gappers, especially since they are usually dropping and the are not shortable.

Its not Avg Range?
I don't think its "Momentum" or is it?

suggestions?

Try this for starters

Fetcher[
add column RSquared(close, 45)
sort column 5 descending
45 day slope of close above .02

Maybe this

Fetcher[ SET{6WEEK, WEEKLY CLOSE / WEEKLY CLOSE 6 WEEKS AGO}
SET{6WEEK3, 6WEEK - 1}
SET{6WKRETURN, 6WEEK3 * 100}

Sort column 5 descending
Volume above 100000
Price above 5

ADD COLUMN 6WKRETURN {6 WEEK RETURN (%)}
]
