So for decades I’ve known that the majority of traders have to lose for the traded instrument to go up.
Therefore it makes great sense to say the opposite of what you’re really trading on public forums.
Other traders I respect have also voiced that sentiment. The majority have to lose plain and simple.

On the flip side, in your opinion, for those few who did survive/win, what's the average annual trading profits range like?

Is this success/failure split more like 80/20 or 70/30 or 90/10 or 98/2 OVER TIME?
