This is a Connors buy the dip filter for S&P 500 stocks ONLY. While the edge in some of Connors signals have diminished post-discovery somewhat in recent years, this one has continued to perform well between 2015-2020, according to my testing
S&P 500 stocks only
Yesterday is a -4% down day. Enter a limit order to buy if the stock drops another -4% today. Exit once the CRSI close above 50, or within 16 days on entry, whichever comes first.

Thanks! Any favorites? Have you noticed higher percentages with any particular filter?
@Samhill, the ones with higher percentages are the ones that occur the least often. Larry Connors books show this pattern repeatedly - the stricter the rules, the less times it hits, but they have a higher win%. Of those listed, VXX Short, Terror Gap, and Buying into Further Weakness intra-day are examples of low occurrence but high win%.
The RSI(2)s, Double 7s, and Powerzones have frequent occurrences, but their win% is less than the three above. According to Connors backtesting through 2017, the win% on these is still 70%+.
The intra-day trades on here are nigh impossible to catch using SF since by the time the filter shows with its 20-minute delay, they have already bounced back in real time. I recreated these with a thinkorswim scan and they work beautifully.

Thanks Xarlor,
I'm more of a Swing Trader (days to weeks), and I'm finding it difficult to determine who here is Swing trading vs. Day Trading.

Well, this is certainly the most fertile period we have seen for Larry Connors signals triggering in the last 10 years.
Are you guys taking the signals and buying anything? Sitting on the sidelines? Backtesting new ideas?

I had in the past looked at how Larry Connors performed during black swan events. As expected, they lose, just as most strategies do when hit with global events. As such, I am not playing any Larry Connors filters during this correction.
Note that Connors' backtesting included losses from black swan events. If you can avoid the events and pick the strategy back up once stabilized, I imagine the win percentages are even higher than his testing showed.
