I see you've discovered the exit strategy. Now, can anyone show me a filter that works over 80% of the time and produces between 5% and 10% gains in roughly a 5 day period. Stock prices over $10.00. I know they are there because I see them.

Most people that are coming to this site are on a journey of discovery. They are trying to prove or disprove their ideas and regardless of how elementary or ridiculous these ideas seem to you every new trader still follows this same path. I have been watching these posts for a few weeks now and I can pretty much tell who the jerks are. Classify yourself how you see fit. But please, do not respond to any more of my posts!
I would hope that SF monitors these posts and puts a stop to some of this childish and insulting behaviour on this site.

For Defau - do you really think a filter can be developed that produces 10% gains in 3-5 days? You are as naive as it gets!! To borrow from the rumpledone "its not what u trade, its how you trade." Defau must stand for default.

There are a few filters that can put you on the track of stocks that may make those gains, like my NEXT NTRI filter but you still have to get in there and trade!

Well TRO I appreciate the input. The trading is not a problem for me. I have a criteria I am looking at and I have looked at some of your good work and will see how well I can fit this into my trading.
As for you Oldsmarta!#52, we all know which group you fit in now don't we.

Default - the idea is that you are as naive as it gets. I can easily find stocks that gain 50% in a 3-5 day period (AFTER THE FACT). So what are you doing wanting to mess around with a paltry 10% for?

Because I have a plan and I know that there are stocks flucuating on average 5% in a 5 day period. What I am trying to do is identify the probablity of a given direction with accuracy of 80% or better. I know that stocks the hit the moon are just lucky trades and when you get them great. I am more concerned with consistency because that's how you make the money. Now, if you have something constructive to offer then I'm all ears, if not Shutup.
