I've probably mentioned this before but SF gives us the capability to save all of our filters in one file as backup. The default file is a notepad file on my pc.

1. Go to Settings
2. My Filters tab
3. Click on Export button at bottom of screen
4. Choose where you want to save it.

Convenient! TIL I don't have to fear the day all my filters disappear.

Thanks fellow Gator!

For me it serves as a way to search my prior filters for phrases, words etc. that are not just in the filter name.
Also, since I'm a bit disorganized most of the time, I can delete the top 5 to 10 of my saved filters so my empty spots are at the top of MY Filters list and I don't have to worry about not having enough space to save filters in progress that I'm working on at the time. Its easy enough to paste them back in as new filters and save them when I want immediate SF access.
There are probably more benefits I have not even thought of.
