I have been finding stocks on the following filter, running them through the CW criteria, then waiting for the different time frames to get close. If the stock is a "ready to wear", I check the news, insider trades, and my guaranteed, made in China crystal ball, then watch the Time and Sales for a bit and pull the trigger, or not.

I have got to figure out how to exit these trades, as I have left a crapper full of money on the table.

Since 9/19 when I started this side-show, the results look so-so.
FIRST APPEARED BOUGHT NET GAIN OPEN/CLOSED
UAN 9/18 9/19 6% CLOSED
PZRX 9/20 9/20 25% CLOSED
RTK 9/21 9/21 4% CLOSED
HOV 10/03 10/04 7% OPEN
EXK 10/04 10/04 -0.3% OPEN
CYTX 10/05 10/05 13% OPEN

Thanks to our friend Mac, the river rat (that man knows how to cruise, we got a visual on him cruising past the Grafton Ferry) for the filter, the introduction to CW, and also the Guppy system.

very nice. you have sorted by 'ema45 days'. what is the significance of that parameter?

the ema45 cross will be the last cross, as ema13 > ema30 > ema45, ema45days of 1 or 2 will give the earliest jumping in point.
It seems to bode well if the stock continues to show up day after day, but I have not really delved into that bucket of snakes, maybe mac can shed some light. Thinking about adding to the position each day it appears. check out HOV
and you know how I like pregnant IFT curves,

Todays candidates:
BNED: emadays 12-9-1 too long, low volume, ugly IFT
BETR: emadays 5-2-1 good, volume slight increase, IFT ok
CYTX: an early show, bought in pm, 13.4% so far
SRNE: psycho stock

Going to press on with BETR

PT, BPL looks good except for little bleeding off of momentum this pm.

graftonian, thank you! I didnt pull the trigger on BPL. Just EXEL and UNIT and am up. But you just gave me more options with your new filter, so we will see what tomorrow brings. you are like 'the professor"...you go into the lab and come out with a killer filter.

graf, my 2 cents on exit. I try to exit when PPO on the 4 hour chart on stockcharts has bent over a bit and is flattening out about to head downward. Not sure that helps you. guppy stocks behave like ETF's sometimes, it is easy to overstay your welcome !

TROX might be a play this morning. I am going to stay away from BETR
