This is a good time to test those momentum and oversold filters and maybe tweak for better results.
The recent big downward pressure makes a backtest over the past 2 ~ 4 days very revealing.

any thoughts on general market direction next 1-2 weeks?

Oh, and what filters are you thinking of using if said markets are turning down?
I have been trying to work on a slow/fast stochastic filter (after passing the "50" line) but haven't backtested well.

I usually post market projections on RB TECHA board.
I have a bunch of short position filters and will be working on refining some of the language this weekend.
I'll try to post something before the weekend is over.
I'm watching NASDAQ trendline support @ ~ 1,760 and the 50 DMA @ 1,770.

Sorry, thats on Raging Bull. Its a collection of boards mostly for purposes of discussing particular stocks.
TECHA is a Technical Analysis board.
That one is pretty dead except for my posts.
It makes it easy to look back and see how close or how far off I was at making a prediction with TA.
