A better way of putting the question.

How do I find when two or more indicators or situations on a chart coincide for the first time in a set number of days?

Did x AND y happen today? Yes
Did x AND y happen yesterday or any other day recently? No

Did x happen before today? Maybe
Did y happen before today? Maybe

I haven't yet tried the current suggestions and will tomorrow.

Will try again hopefully someone knows.

Suppose you have two lines (for example a moving ave. and a Bollinger band) on a chart and while might you want to see the price close above both for the first time, that doesn't always happen. Sometimes it will cross one and then the other a day or two later.

So how do I construct a search for both happening together for the first time within a certain period of time without regard to which happens first?

It's blowing chunks again today. It didn't work much yesterday and is working even less today.

Don't know how many other ppl use it but I use 2.0 simply because that's what I'm used to.

ASI stopped drawing on it about a week ago.

Starting last night May 10 it started to not work very well.

No results will show up when there are results to be had. I have to re-click and then they show up. Or the thumbnails don't show up and the annoying "Loading Thumbnails" stays on the screen. And charts won't draw without multiple clicks.

I'm used to using 2.0 and haven't gotten used to the website searches yet.

Yes that seems to work. Thanks.

Too bad the user guide does such a poor job of explaining how to use the "set" feature or even what it is. I'm can't make any sense of it. Maybe it's just me.

Suppose you want to know when a close is--- for the first time in awhile---above two (or more) different lines that are independent from each other?

For example a close can be above the upper Bollinger band any number of times before it moves above the EMA(150) or it can be the other way around ---- above the upper Bollinger band any number of times before the EMA(150).

But not together until today.

How do I write that?
