Yes, Thank You four

I tried everything I could think of. Even typed "difference between close and close 1 day ago" etc, etc

I couldn't even get a hint to appear on the new filter page when typing those words. That one stumped me.
I did try typing the word "diff" as you showed it in the phrase, after I saw your reply, but that did not even produce a hint. I don't see "diff" anywhere. Makes a nice column heading though...

I did think I tried "close - close 1 day ago", without putting the "0 days ago" part in, but apparently I didn't as I just did now and it worked fine. Not sure what I missed???

OK, now that I have the single phrase, I have some averaging, etc. to do with the days back figures. That I think I can handle.
Thx Again as usual!

I see there are phrases existing to see the price change, be it + or -, given in a percentage. I think that is "day change"

I also see a phrase for the actual dollars & cents range thruout a single day which is "day point range"

Is there a phrase or formula to simply get the actual amount a price changed, either + or -, from close one day until close the next?

I don't have a long results list. I can just check each one in the morning & see where they closed the day before. Just figured I could save a step

As always, Thx so much!!

I don't use SF during intraday. Just grab my list each morning or later night before if I care to look it over

Is there a way to request a shorter time period?

OK, I pulled up a daily, 2 month chart of TVIX and they are below the 0 on that. I was looking at a 10 min 4 day chart, on which they are above.
Your AMZN sample is similar on the daily chart, and still below on my 10 min, 4 day chart

I just tried it again and TVIX showed up in the results. Both lines are clearly above the 0 on my chart (Scottrade Elite)

I think I did tried that four, but I'll try again.
Did you see my edited post/question above?

I'm confused as to what point in time that this filter phrase is pointing to? (Or how to define what I'm hunting)
MACD(12,26,9) Fast Line below 0

I simply am trying to find stocks that have the MACD lines sitting below the "0" line at the close of the last day. (bottom of the hump, if you will) If I enter the phrase as seen, I get results where the lines are above the "0" .

I tried adding "at close", "near close" etc.
What am I missing?

ALSO - I would of course just add the above phrase to my already made filter, thus narrowing the results a bit. Now, if I wish to keep all the original results, can I build a column that will apply a figure to each symbol of which I can sort to bring all the candidates to the top that have the MACD sitting at the bottom? And then I could eliminate the phrase from my criteria.
