I use the same filter posted here. I don't look at ETF, volume is 1,000,000+. Other than that, I sort by 1% one week, 2% the next, 5% the next and then back to 1%, etc. I also do not pick a stock if it is that stock's Earnings Report (ER) week.

This filter continues to work for me. In 2016, I averaged 3.16% per week. So far in 2017 I am at 2.98% per week. Take into account that I re-invest 90% of my profits each week and you can see that this is definitely a "slow cooker" way to make good, good money consistently. Hats off for your great work! Is it perfect? No, but close enough for me.

I think you are missing a few EMA's on those graphs.

Yes, but there are a lot of nuggets to be found and tweaked. I am always looking for new ways to trade and ideas to try. You can't rely on others, take what you find and be responsible for only yourself.

Found this post. I like the way it is written and am going to try it on paper for a while. Any tweaks will be posted here. Anyone else using anything like this with success?

If you are talking about using a "date offset" or "days ago", then yes. You can search and see how to use them both properly.

@ptthomas215, yes that is what I was trying to do, narrow down the prospects. If he said he prefers an entry point when RSI(2) is below 50, it would make sense to add that line to test the strength of the statement.

I don't think by what he said you would want to consider an entry point nearing the top of the RSI chart IMO.
Thanks

I noticed that wallstreetgenius said "and I preferable like entries when it's below 50". So would adding the line "and RSI(2) is below 50" help to reduce the list of stocks to a more reasonable number and give stronger (possibly) stocks to pick from?

My picks this week: AROC, CDE, CLF, GORO, and SN.

I mistakenly posted this in the 5% filter by Kevin.
