Hi Kraal
Could you please show me on a chart how this looks. You could use IMGUR to paste or slice the picture and embed in here.

So based on the info below for the stock,it does not satisfy your first condition of low 2 weeks ago >= low 3 weks ago
Also as you can see from the image i have linked below, the high's and low's are trending down together and the band does not seem to be narrowing or converging together.

REKR
Date Low High
6-Nov 3.38 3.93
30-Oct 3.92 4.35
23-Oct 5 5.34
16-Oct 5.85 6.18

Novo
"
have been searching for a sector rotation strategy for (SPY,XLE,XLB,XLV,XLY,XLK,XLU,XLF,XLP,XLI).

Every time I think I have something that works,it ends up that holding SPY worked better.
"

How about using. a combination of CMF(21) and a momentum. That should show if money is reducing in a sector

Maybe something like this
Fetcher[
apply to symlist (SPY,XLE,XLB,XLV,XLY,XLK,XLU,XLF,XLP,XLI)
cmf(21) crossed below 0 within the last 5 days
cmf(21) < 0 last 4 days
5 day slope of Momentum(12) < 0

show stocks where high has been decreasing for the past 21 days

That's a great caveat Cheese.
Also with regard to the finviz screener, some of the parameters i screen for is >0 and < 1, which is unavailable in the free finviz screener. I have the elite version which I really seldom use that allows custom and range screeners.

So it's a good point that everyone who is following any recommendations do not use the finviz screener unless you have the elite product where you can further enhance and make it similar to what I have in original post.

hello

Thanks for the info. I am horrible at reading chart, so will do some research and figure out what I need to look for. I kinda do not understand a lot of charting coz I think tables have kept me ok for all this time. So havent really thought about understanding charts.

Maybe to get me started, should I look at the bottom chart for crossovers? Thanks again for all the work

hey Cheese

I will just post the picks as and when they come here before EOD. It will be a good group exercise to see where this ends up. I only have a crappy laptop.hahah. I think financial metrics is sorely lacking in SF at moments like this.

Also if someone can replicate this in any other software and show us the backtest before 2019 that would be great.
