Here is a filter I came up with seems to have some good short term (1-20 days) potential. Play around with it. All tweaks are welcomed.

Fetcher[
show stocks where slow stochastics(30,10) %k is below 2
and volume is above average volume(30)
and close is above .5

and draw williams %r(30)
and average volume(30) is above 200000

and draw ma(10)
and draw ema(30)
and draw macd(10,30,9)
and add column slow stochastics(30,10) %k
]

I am trying to write a filter that will return stocks where the 9 day ema crossed below the 20 day slope of MA(12). Some of the scan results are correct but some are not. I ran the debugger and my syntax is ok but I can't seem to get it right. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Show stocks where the 20 day slope of MA(12) is above .1 and is above EMA(9)
and Average Volume(30) is above 250000
and Price is between .25 and 7
and draw EMA(9)

I am trying to create a scan that will find stocks in an increasing 45 day channel that have an open AND close below the lower boundary. Apperently the SF canned scan is not capable of being modified. Any suggestions from the resident scan guru's????

Can someone help with writing this from scratch? There has to be a way to scan for stocks in a 45 day increasing slope channel and a CLOSE below the lower boundary , no?

United,

Maybe you could use something like this:

Fetcher[
Price trading near the bottom of a increasing 45 day channel
]

Probably need to add some price and volume restrictions.

I am trying to edit this SF scan (increasing 45 day channel) to show stocks where the body of the candle is below the lower cahnnel line. Any ideas on how to accomplish that?

meaning you can't change the predefined scans or there is no way to write the scan I want?

I am trying to modify the predefined 45 day increasing channel scan to return all stocks where the entire candle body is below the lower channel boundary. I can't seem to get the syntax right. Will someone please share their expertise with me?
