EWZ, do you base your entry on STOCH divergence?

I stumbled across a nice site at http://www.nebadawn.com/

They have a scanning product called Ramp. The site contains some excellent insctuctional videos.

Basically, they look for trendline touches confirmed by positive MACD within bullish sectors. Buying near support provides a logical stop.

The way Ramp is set up requires multiple scans and I would think the process could be simplified and work well on Stockfetcher.

Combing the whole process into a single Stockfetcher scan is beyond my ability. Anyone interested in giving it a shot?

Glider, commodity brokers are just salesmen and more than likely you will be burning out clients, just blowing out their accounts. Years ago, the classic broker "sold trades". He'd get a rap going, based upon fundamentals, along the lines of "Hey. winter is approaching and the demand for heating oil will be very strong, our analysts see it rising to....blah,blah." Today many brokers sell trading advisors and maybe the burn rate is a little slower. If you like telemarketing and sales and can lie without guilt, go for it.

Do you just exit on the close after 3 days?

Does anyone know how to write an exit that would do the following:

If you enter on a buy stop, an exit at the first profitable opening after entry?

Just started working with the backtest function and I'm struggling with exit phrases. Can't find anything in help.

For example: How would I write an exit if I entered a long position on a buy stop and wanted to exit on the first profitable opening?

Is it possible to just post a list of the symbols so that I can cut and paste into a watch list?

Thanks

Has anyone familiar with the Pretty Good Oscillator? I have seen it mentioned on other message boards but don't know much about it. It's usually praised as being, well, pretty good.

I think I may have read some MACD settings on his site, does anyone recall what they were?
