I've been day trading stocks for the last couple of years. I have a few friends and relatives who have expressed an interest in having me day trade the funds in their IRA's. But I have two questions: 1) I would prefer to do this without having to go through any regulatory hoops or at least keep it to a minimum. 2) I would like to be able to place a trade once and have that same trade executed across all accounts. Is this possible through most brokers? Thanks in advance.

Tomb, I second the request for renko charts. I daytrade the emini russell for a living and renko charts have been a critical part of my success. It would be AWESOME to have this capability in SF. Please, seriously consider this.

Interesting read from Michael Reagan regarding federal budget. The beat goes on. Sigh...

I don't believe there's a way to overlay this on price (correct me if I'm wrong fellow programmers), but you can plot it in the pane below. Something like this will work:

Suggestion, instead of spending so much time fiddling with filters spend more time looking at monthly and weekly SPX charts. Study how price swings (I use zig zag), volume, momentum (I use MACD) and support and resistance work together to give you a clearer picture of what the long term trend is, and just as important what conditions need to be in place to indicate a high probability of a long term market reversal.

I once heard of a guy named David Cooper several years ago who supposedly developed some sort of mechanical system trading the most active options. I think if you go to google groups and search the investing forums you may be able to dig something up. IMHO the best way to trade options is focus on strongly trending stocks and buy options on the pullbacks.

All I can say is the Bankster is a lousy debater. Also love the way he pronounces "preposterous". Also love the deadbeat home owner's constant references to "dog doo" and the occasional fart. LOL.
