Diverg. suggestion:
Use linear reg. line of each indicator, then ask for different slope lines. I wrote one in here a few months ago, keyword search: "X marks the spot". Where X is the visual pattern of the 2 Lin. Reg. slopes (ala diverg.)

SF mngt...

Are you listening?
SF message boards need a review & remodeling.
Want proof?
The YHOO mssg. boards for your platform are significanlty more busy than yours.
(this would not be a problem IF your messg. board system was full of traffic)

Lastly,
Community is the glue of commerce (aka customer retention). Resourses spent here will return hard dollars.

Heres what happens when you buy a higher high in a gap-up stock.

Fetcher[
/*TRIGGER*/
and high > high one day ago

/*GAP UP SET UP*/
set{x1, close one day ago}
set{x2, low - x1}
x2 is above 0
and x2 one day ago has reached a new 250 day high

/*GLOBAL*/
avgvol(90) > 100000
and price > 4
do not draw pp

and date offset is 32
]

TRIGGER IDEA #2.
RSI(12) fade, RSI(2) uptick.

Fetcher[
/*TRIGGER*/
and cwma(rsi(12),3) one day ago has been decreasing for 3 days
and rsi(2) has been increasing for one day

/*GAP UP SET UP*/
set{x1, close one day ago}
set{x2, low - x1}
x2 is above 0
and x2 has reached a new 250 day high within the last 20 days

/*GLOBAL*/
avgvol(90) > 100000
and price > 4
do not draw pp

and date offset is 44
]

These Triggers ignore the gap up and rally higher on day#2.

Intraday charting is all over. Intraday scanning is not.
-tc2000.com
-tradestation.com

There are many others.
Only TradeStation.com comes close to SF's scripting potential. TC2000.com has some "blackbox" indicators that drive me nuts.

Marine2,
I like what you got goin' on.
I've never been smart enough to limit my TA scans thru a fundemental filtering 1st. Thats "win-win" thinking. I use to work with Loius Navalier's picks, but they were almost all high RS picks.
