I thought it was an "overloaded class" which would allow the plus sign to be used for addition and the "or logic". I guess I was wrong.

I tried it initially with "count" as prescribed but had zero results I will rewrite it and see if it works.

I also tried

set{G, A+B+C+D}
show stocks where G is above 0

with no luck. :(

Looks like there is a limit of column count
and with Bullish Side-by-side lines.
Isn't there an easier way to find bullish candlesticks.

I would like to have a column which gives the candlestick pattern name.
I used the set{ST, A+A} to attempt an IF STATEMENT.
It sure would be nice to have an IF STATEMENT.
Also, it would be nice to write STRINGS to be displayed in columns.

The RSI in the above correction has NO REAL AFFECT on the previous results. Sorry.
DISREGARD ABOVE CORRECTION!!!

Slope of RSI<30 is almost always true.

We need something more like,

Slope of RSI>0 as in the first posting with the addition of RSI<30.

But no results are coming up RSI is usually high.

1. Breaking the previous high/resistance
is the first signal of continued upward trend.
Longer periods are O.K..
(I chose 14 because it indicates that
there are good volatile swings in this stock)

2. Upward linear regression slope(LRS) ensures a longer period uptrend,
which we would like to have. Always trade with the primary trend.
It is not absolutely necessary to do this, but it narrows the results.

3. MA(4) is a short term moving average of the price.
When price crosses the Upper Keltner Band,
we have a breakout in upward volatility.
Using the MA(4) ensures a more strict breakout and reduces the chances of whipsaw signals.

4. RSI below 30 and sloping upward further strengthens the results.

Right on TxTrapper.

The cross above ma(8)&ma(14) is what we want.

Careful on the sell point. MA(4) cross below may be late.

General Discussion · Double bottoms , confirmed reversal -help / THanks all

Double bottoms mean a support has been found.
If your price is higher than the intermediate peak and
the second bottom is a little higher than the first,
you may have a nice reversal.
If your price can't beat the intermediate peak, then
a consolidation pattern/rectangle may be forming
between your peak and the double bottoms.
You will have to wait for a confirmed breakout from that peak.
Make sure you also take a look at your primary support/resistance trendlines.
They may have more information for you as will other indicators
e.g. MACD,RSI,ROC,MA Crossovers etc.

Hope this helps.
