I want to ammend stock fetcher's scan 45-day decreasing slope channel so I can add close is between 5-40.

Whenever I add and close is bewteen 5-40 it brings up over 6,000 results?

What am I doing incorrectly? I have emailed stockfetcher many times, but of course, they do not respond.

ANy suggestions?

I have tried most of the short filters here and none seem to be worth much. So I have been playing around and have tried to create one here and there but can't seem to get anything to really light my fire.

I have put this together so far... but it keeps bringing up uptrending stocks... which is fine if they channel...like OMN.

Show stocks where RSI(14) crossed below 80
and RSI(14) 1 day ago was above 80
add column rsi (14)
add column exchange
and close is between 5 and 40
and average volume(30) is above 50000

I also short stocks... much more successfully than going long. Does anyone have a good short filter available they wish to share?

Riggs, will you please post your complete accumulation warm pop 80 filter here with no date offset when you have time. I have 2 filters that you created that are almost identical but are producing significantly different results.
Much appreciated.

I teach in an urban highschool in Cincinnati. I am used to the bickering back and forth. Both of you sit down before you get expelled.

I am just trying to figure out the difference between the two filters because they produce such drastic and different restults. I am using the well oiled machine (THANKS... BMD would have brought a 13% gain... but I sold too early) that was originally posted. I just changed the close price for my fetch.

Riggs, TRO, and all the others... you all have some really good filters. We're lucky to have you around.

Yes, they all hold up. They are really good filters.

well, ok. will do. But the two filters definitely produce different results.
At any rate... the first one is great!
Thanks

Riggs,
Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear.

You have two filters here that are worded very differently. You have the one just a few up here starting with close is above 2

and then you have the other one that starts with close above 20

One produces 4 hits and the other produced 70+ hits but none of the hits were on both lists.

So, that is why I am confused a bit because the syntax is different.

Pardon my ignorance, as I am not a stockfetcher guru. But in your filter, which by the way, is reallly really nice.... I don't understand what these mean:
adval ccval rsval wrval

Is their a particular number I should be looking for in these columns? I read the posts but don't see the answer anywhere.

Also, the filter above is not the same as the other filter... any major differences?

Thanks.

i get 300-5000 possibilities. Perhaps I am not copying the entire filter correctly. Do I need to copy the */normalize/ and stuff like that also?

Thanks
