I can't imagine we're out of the woods until we test last week's bottom and have it hold...at least once.

Regarding Karen's source and something big in February.

I have some military family friends who are suggesting that there is a big call out to staff up a February deployment. All of the details are secret, of course (well....nobody's telling me anyway), but one might extrapolate at a ramping up on the war front.

Was able to scalp just over $1.00/share on XIV today thanks to the signals that came up last night. However, I was not willing to hold overnight. I know enough not to play this game by "feel" but something "feels" wrong about tomorrow, so taking this little profit is sufficient for today.

Did, however, want to add my appreciation to those of you that continue to post the results of Kevin's SS filters. Many thanks.

BTW...Sonos is going straight after Apple by selling TWO of their units for the price of one Apple unit starting tomorrow.

I've already got my order in place with Sonos...which pretty much guarantees that the Apple product will become the industry standard, but anyone buying this product for fidelity is buying Sonos.

Wanted to thank 15min and mahk for the UNP play back on 12/27. I tagged along on that trade, currently up 50%.

There might just be something to this idea of following the money. :)

Well Kevin, on the off-chance that you're still reading what's said here, I hope that you land somewhere that makes you happy. I, for one, would welcome being able to continue to watch your work in your preferred forum.

Best of luck to you, and thanks for everything you've done for my benefit and for others on this board.

I haven't been around long enough to know the answer to my own question, but I don't think I've ever seen a SF moderator take any sort of action whatsoever.

I echo the calls for you (or anyone) who does something personally offensive to be put on block.

The board would be worse off for your absence Kevin.

I prefer the SSE platform and Fidelity does some weird stuff with how they represent margin. I agree with the overall trade costs comments, but if I separate investments from the day trade stuff, I don't have a problem paying $5 in accounts where the trading is less frequent. Again, YMMV.

Why not both?

If forced to choose, I'd say Schwab, but that's a strictly personal opinion from someone that does have accounts in both places.
