After you get your filter results, does anyone know who to say:
(for example)
"and add column % difference between column 1 and column 4"

So, I'm adding a column that gives me the % difference between the 2 columns in my results.

THANKS.
------------

You need to define it in the filter and add column.
E.g.
column1 = close
column4 = close 1 day ago
set{ccc1, column1 / column4}
set{ccc2, ccc1 - 1}
set{PercDiff, ccc2 * 100}
add column PercDiff

hraghav,
in the bracket order you can change to bracket it from absolute numbers precalculation to %-tage from executed price. So if you place an order to buy at 100 and bracket it with sell limit 10% and stop loss 5% it should take your execution price 97 and use percentage to calculate brackets. Actually, I'm starting to use bracket orders from today and based on % so if you wait week or two I'll tell you my experience

niko,
did you find some structure of orders with IB you would be able to submit a bracket order but... instead of sell limit to place trailing stop-loss. I mean, once the price went up by 15% it would put 5% trailing stop
Thank you in advance

Stockfetcher Team,
thank you for the upgrade. It's really improvement. Could you please add a link on main page, e.g. between Backtesting and My Filter, that would start StockFetcher 2.0?

You are doing good work.
Thank you
Best regards

Show results XX days ago.

You remember that nice link when you got results of your filter? You could see results 3 months to 1 day ago... Where can I find it in SF 2.0?

Thank you

niko,

"Mary had given us a lot of examples of what might have been la "woulda, shoulda, coulda" but never once referred to her losing trades. I can only speculate that the drawdown wouldn't look very pretty. Moreover, she never once alludes to the contingency plan should the trade fail. "

these are just ideas... what kind of drawdown could you have if you follow market intraday and you are disciplined to cut losses small?
Mary goes for high volatility... (s)he puts some stocks on watchlist and if they move in desired direction (s)he enters... if the momentum reverses (s)he sells at entry price latest... therefore drawdown would be commissions and slippage. (s)he also goes for high volume stocks (the day traded) so shouldn't be a problem with executing trade.

What I find diffucult with this approach is to find the candidates to watch and then watch them intraday. Actually I can't do that first 90min of trading and (s)he refers to following gaps indicated by AH trading.

I saw that Muddy and others in his chatroom also search for these high volatility intraday moves and they are quite good in it.

Muddy,
I try to follow a lot of your lessons and follow your favorite list posted in yahoo forum but I didn't see GOAM and FMDAD(FMDAY) on it. I found only MEMY.

How did you come to them. Hmm.... past experience with them. Don't even reply if this is the case. I simply don't have your experience unfortunatelly :o(( so I can't find them following what so ever (except of chat log).

Thank you for all.

ra
