FWIW, given "stop hunting" and other MM chicanery, "married" puts could offer a better alternative to those seeking some insurance...

With "Wall Street" making such "Jedi Mind Trick" pronouncements and the media thoroughly co-opted by subjective mis-information, 'tis time for the sheep to guard their fleece. My contrarian nature is telling me this is nothing more than lulling the flock into getting caught in "weak holder" positions, as the "smart money" continues to sell into what strength may remain and then "put" on their "shorts" for a nice ride to the downside...

"Crash"..."Soft Landing"...one way or the other, we'll see...I'm strapping my helmet on as I write this...

Thanks for sharing, TRO...

I've run into an issue where SF2 is not plotting weekly RSI(2) data as SF1 does. For your review, below is the corresponding code currently being used:

draw weekly RSI(2) line at 20
draw slow stochastics(14,3) on plot weekly RSI(2)

First of all, kudos and thanks to the SF team for SF2 :) Though there may be a few kinks to work out, I remain entirely enthusiastic regarding the promise and potential I've seen so far. Keep up the great work...

On the subject of "kinks", I've run into an issue where I select and run a custom filter, but SF2 retains the default filter ticker/price/volume info, yet the associated indicators (RSI, SS) show the plotted data for the ticker selected from the custom filter. Follow link below for screenshot...

P.S. It sure would be nice to be able to post the image directly, as SF is currently doing, instead of having to provide external links. Any chance of this being a possibility in the near future?

Just a thought...Try using set{} statements to specify those custom indicator elements...

For example:

set { wRSI2, weekly RSI(2) }

draw wRSI2

FWIW...I've been with thinkorswim for about five months now (great service + great platform that is continuously being developed and enhanced). While the platform has been primarily designed for trading options (Citibank and Merrill Lynch are notable institutional clients), it has been perfectly fine for equities and futures...bottom line...IMHO, it is the best trading interface I've worked with, so far...

You can create an almost dizzying array of complex orders. They offer a free 10-day test drive. For more info, follow links below...
