After reading Denninger's piece, I must admit I was startled when I saw the following by-line:
It would seem this global situation is apparently not all-encompassing, but regionally selective, given the previous observations by fellow SF'ers above and the reportage from the Star Tribune in Minnesota. Hmmm...
This commentary provides what would seem a partisan perspective of the whole mess. With that said, given the growing amount of conflicting information surfacing and mainstream media's potential for propaganda, I find some of the points made plausible...

FWIW...I wholeheartedly agree with Guru_Trader...I've been with TOS (ThinkOrSwim) for more than 2 years now after Scottrade, Ameritrade and E-Trade and haven't looked back :) Their platform is worth a demo...
Thanks to fellow SFers responding to my previous post and providing additional references, I've continued to explore aspects of the rapidly unfolding events we find ourselves witnessing with each passing day. As a result, it feels like I've fallen down the rabbit hole and this certainly doesn't look like Wonderland so far...
I'm no Chicken Little...I don't think the sky is falling. I'm not advocating or evangelizing here. FWIW, I'm just passing along information I feel might be helpful...Paying it forward, so to speak...
