@karennma,

okay, fine. if you can't use it, you can't use it.
Now, if you don't really need to draw those commonly accepted trendlines,
then this code should give you the 200 day trends you were looking for.
Click on the small chart displays to see the trends on the big charts.

Trade well,

@karennma,

Not a computer expert. I an guessing that you nay have some conflicts
somewhere in your hardware and software settings and installations.
Were there any changes directly or indirectly to what you;ve been using?

I had no problems at all with the free trials It was easy.
I haven't bought because customer support completely ignores my purchase inquiry.
Wut? Huh? Go figure.

Here are some links that may be helpful to you:

http://www.nebadawn.com/help-files-for-Ramp9/Trendline-Scanner-Help.html
http://www.todayscharts.com/videos/MTF-BobCharts/MTF-BobCharts.html

You will like it more once you've figured out your systems kinks.
Maybe some computer experts like Ed S can chime in and help you solve
your charting problems.

Best

karennma,

Were you looking for something that automatically draws trendlines for you?
This site is having a sale of its RAMP 9 until this Saturday Dec 5, 2020
$249 - $100 = $149 for 1 year (Gold level, real time)

http://www.nebadawn.com

You only get 10 free scans, and then you have to decide whether to buy or not..

Does anybody here use RAMP 8 or RAMP 9?
What is your experience with the app and customer support?

Trade well,

Thanks again, snappy.
To me, your combined filter shows its great value best with stuff like XLE.
A big question for me is still position sizing, money management risk reward
How much can I trust it as a rotation/ reversal signal
How do I know that the trend has truly reversed,
given all the macroeconomic and political headwinds?

snappy,
Your parentheses should have worked.
Anyway, thank you for the expansion of an existing great filter.

@kia007

Some of the best filters in sF were developed when sF toolbox was simpler
and computing was less powerful. TRO used to say it's how we trade.
Some of the best ideas here and outside of sF are still quite simple.
That's why I said it's the user.

It's usually not the tools. It's usually the users.
