SCO...missed pulling the trigger on the oversold bounce at $83, now have to wait for a possible double bottom to enter.

no indicator was used, this was purely a news event as I explained in my previous post. Most indicators are the same calculated using price or volume. Pay more attention to support, resistance and reversion...hth.

the act of trading is simple, but difficult to make money, this why so many fail. I've blown up my account many times in the past, still practice every night with forex. For fun - back in VXX (long 1000 shares at $35.00). Not driven by any signal, just playing with the extra profit I made this morning over my target.
^VIX up 7.8% right now. VXX down 0.25%. That is some really crappy tracking of an index.
UPDATE:
Weird day - the ^VIX index is up right now (+2.2%) but VXX is DOWN -1.78%. Again, I say that is pretty crappy tracking if you ask me.
I placed a limit order for 1000 shares of VXX at $34.00. Waiting to see of it fills.
UPDATE: Filled at 34.00. Now long 2000 shares at $34.50. Fingers crossed.
