I need help in creating a filter that has this characteristic:
"If Aroon Oscillator(8) touched -92 from a previous high, over 50."
Can someone out there put this in a correct phrase or statement that would give me a positive result? If you can I will be so elated I might even shed a tear.

I attempted getting some results from you request but it appears the parameters you are selecting (-90) is too restrictive... so I played with some numbers until I could get some reults ... I am not familiar with Aroon Oscillator.. but this should give you a starting point...

...and now for some BACK TESTING
... it looks like short term doesn't offer much (though that could just be the market today) ... but 30 days offset shows better results...

Xplorer, thx very much for your time and patience with my filter problem. I will test what you gave to me and tinker with it.
This is a wonderful forum when people such as yourself help newbies like me and others find succesful ways to make a few bucks in the stock arena.
