Does anyone have a neat way of identifying a 3-day downward trend, the 3 days not including the current day? I could say that the close of day 1 was lower than the close of day 2 was lower than the close of day 3 but that seems too 'klugey'. Is there a more 'sophisticated' way?

Fetcher[show stocks where close has been decreasing for the last 3 days]

that's the simplest way... if you haven't downloaded the stockfetcher manual yet, you should, as it will tell you most of all you'll ever need to know about writing the filters
