In order to provide our customers with a reliable and secure connection to StockFetcher, on November 1, 2015, we will begin disabling access to www.stockfetcher.com from browsers that do not support SSL versions TLS 1.1 & TLS 1.2.

The chart below shows what O/S (Operating Systems) and Browsers support TLS 1.1 & TLS 1.2. As you can see, only Windows Vista and XP system users that use Internet Explorer as their browser will not have the ability to support TLS 1.1 & 1.2. According to our most recent stats, Windows XP, Vista and older PC users using Internet Explorer as their browser represent less than 2% of the PC’s that access this site.

In order to maintain a StockFetcher subscription, a handful of Windows XP/Vista users will need to install another browser such as Chrome or FireFox to continue to access www.stockfetcher.com.

    | Operating System / Browser Version | Support TLS 1.2 | | All Windows O/S using last 9 versions of FireFox | YES | | All Windows and Mac O/S using last 9 versions of Google Chrome | YES | | All Windows O/S using last 9 versions of Opera | YES | | All Windows 7 & 8 using last 4 versions of Internet Explorer | YES | | All Windows Vista using Internet Explorer | NO | | All Windows XP using Internet Explorer | NO | | All Windows O/S using Edge (Internet Explorer) | YES | | All Mac O/S using the last 2 versions of Safari | YES | Note: Although 98% of all PC/Browser combinations currently in use support TLS 1.1 & TLS 1.2, there is a chance that they may not be enabled in your browser settings.
