Took a daytrip to Palm Springs yesterday, had a wonderful Mexican dinner with the lovely Filipina wife while the kids were at Universal studios. We decided to stop in at a local realty to look at some properties.
I might pick up a cheap little 2br. with pool. It's pretty nice there, very dry weather and there's a ton of same gender couples which is so nice because they keep the areas nice and clean and bring a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. Just a fabulous fabulous environment. We later stopped into an amazing little Gelato place, I had 2 ice cream cannolis and something called a Grenata coffee I guess which was a frozen coffee, and the wifey had a mango gelato. Absolutely divine. Then we stopped into a very chic clothing store where everything was $17.50 what a riot. All the clothes looked like they belonged in Steven Tyler's closet. Holy cow, Great times.

Took a helicopter ride to Catalina Island yesterday, what a beautiful Island. My neighbor is a pilot so he takes us anywhere we want to go. He also flies private jets so next week he will fly us from LA. to Vegas, only catch is he has to return the plane within 2 days. Small planes scare the crap out of me but I guess I have to get used to it. Life out west is so much cooler than the Midwest. Now if we can ditch the wives and get a couple of hot blonde stewardesses on board that would be the ultimate. Live it up kids.

Today was a simple day, drove to a local nursery to get a banana tree and an avocado.
Passed several rolling mountains with vineyards and oranges. Just beautiful. Afterwards we went for sushi and a dip in the pool. Tonight we will watch the Bears game whilst dining on shrimp cocktail and Mimosas.
The bears are going nowhere but go Bears!!

Well it's that time of year where Shills makes his annual Super Bowl calls, I've been right every year, verifiable. Rams last year just one of my many calls chosen week1. Anyway, this year will be a little tougher but imo. at least 1 or 2 of these teams will make or meet in the Super Bowl.
