Standard Error Bands

ParametersPeriod
Width
UsageUpper Standard Error Band(45,2.0)
Lower Standard Error Band(45,2.0)
Center Standard Error Band(45,2.0)
DescriptionStandard Error Bands combine the Standard Error and Linear Regression Indicator statistical measures to create levels around price. Since the bands are based on the standard error, the width of the bands indicates the level of volatility related to the current trend, as determined by the linear regression trend-line.

The center band is simply the Linear Regression Indicator, while the upper and lower bands are determined by offset the specified number of standard errors from the linear regression indicator.

Example:

and add column stderr(close,45)
