I found this company while comparing discount brokerages and I have never heard of it. Just wondering if any one has heard of or is using it.

Feedback on any of these companies would be appreciated too

I get the impression that many people here are on Interactive Brokers. I have the play money account with them, and they're OK. I wouldn't be the biggest cheerleader for them, they do tend to nickle and dime on fees, but if you trade even reasonably often, they'll be waived. Wading through the choices of services can be intimidating. I also have Fidelity and Schwab. The interface that I like best is StreetSmartEdge with Schwab, so I do most of my research and pricing there before trading in whatever account is appropriate for a given trade. No info on Robinhood for you.

C1916, thanks for the input. I currently use Scottrade and have been happy with them always felt $14 round trip was reasonable. Just exploring other options before the conversion to TD Ameritrade.

Yes..I've used them for over a year now. Overall happy with them for simple long only trades.

I use Scottrade since early 90's but as I'm getting older I watch every penny, I've been talking to Tradestation, I could save myshelve 39% on commissions, Scottrade 13.95 in/out: Tradestation 10 in/out., Shop around

I use ThinkorSwim, but am looking at Tastytrade, seems to be 1/2 as much as TOS.

Depending on how much money you have in your account and if you open ups a small bank account at BAC you can get anywhere from 30 to 100 trades per month at Merrill Lynch Edge. Just to let you know they do not allow you to trade VIX products.

I've used this just to test it out. It works fine for swing longs. I found the interface irritating, and a number of people I know missed exits due to functionality issues in the earlier versions. All in all, fine-ish.

Thank you to everyone for your input and suggestions. It's given me a few services to check out.
